Does being healthy really matter?
This is not a post about telling you to exercise and become vegetarian or you will be doomed to an early death, and this article is definitely not about making you feel bad for your unhealthy habits, but rather, I want to share with you something fundamental that I have come across, that might help you live a better, successful life. Here’s a very simple yet powerful analogy of what goes on in your body.
Why be healthy?
Imagine that your body consists of a population of tiny living beings, societies that work, produce, consume and live. Imagine that these little people that are living in your body, their environment, resources, production, all depend on how much YOU give them. Imagine you being the God of your body, or a governor.
Now, when you eat healthy, exercise and take care of your body, these little people have the resources they need, their weather is good, they have money, they are happy, they work, produce, live happily ever after, and are super productive pumping positivity in your brain and giving you the strength to go after your goals and stay focused.
When you are not healthy on the other hand, your little people are angry at you, because you are feeding them with bad resources, they need to work extra to get rid of the shit that you feed them, their weather becomes bad with storms and tornadoes, they are not happy, not productive, some of them are homeless, some of them get too pissed off at you that they start protesting against you and giving you cancer.
Your body is exactly similar to this analogy, you have little people in you that are depending on the things that you provide them.
If you want to be successful, productive, focused, emotionally stable, you have better chances if the little people inside of your body are happy, if you piss them off they will return the favour to you.
My observations on life and the lessons learned.
On the Binary Law of Life
Male and female, light and dark, good and evil, misery and happiness, hot and cold, right and wrong, zeroes and ones.
On Mankind
People are not afraid of death.
Human beings are dominated by desire, there is not much difference between animals and humans, the desire for territory, food, lust, possessions.
The number one destructive desire that mankind is facing is Greed. Poverty in the world is the direct result of greed.
We live in an age where one man possesses wealth that can feed 100 million people who cannot afford to eat.
There are so many cultural differences, and many different types of societies, maybe one day this gap will disappear, but for the coming centuries, you guys must endure.
Our youth are being taught how to “hustle” instead of being taught how to improve the world.
Humans take their parents for granted. A father or a mother is the most precious belonging that a human can have, but yet humans understand that conceptually, not practically.
However! Don’t ever think that there are no good people out there, if good people did not exist, humanity would have gone extinct.
On politics.
Once you are above 18 years old or so, you will be initiated to the weird world of politics, the fundamental lesson that you must know and which most of the people don’t even know, is to differentiate between a super power and a state.
On money.
Never set foot in debt. If you can’t afford it, don’t buy it.
Always have backup savings.
Depend on multiple sources of income.
On emotions.
Humans are two sided. Just like the binary law of life.
One day you feel happy, one day you feel sad.
One day you feel love, one day you feel anger.
Those who have control over their emotions are the smart, not the ones with high IQs.
Talent is over rated, passion is what makes a person excel.
On enemies.
There is no such thing as a definite enemy.
Time changes the good to bad and the bad to good.
The most powerful attitude that you can ever have is to always keep your intentions clean, this is the most valuable lesson that you must learn no matter what. The moment you learn how to maintain sincere and good intentions towards everyone and everything, you will notice that your life will become as smooth as f***.
On happiness.
God.
His remembrance calms the heart.
Prayer and Meditation, helps understand oneself, and provides the opportunity to ponder about the important matters in our lives, thus improving our well being. Embrace Silence!
On God
The only eternal friend.
On Strangers.
Look at people as if all of them are messengers of god.
That way your heart will have nothing but love for everyone. Thus removing doubt.
Fear is how you fall.
On Death
Embrace it, and know that there is someone who will take care of you when you are gone,
Whoever brought me here will have to take me home ~ Rumi
Law Of Success # 3 The more you spend time doing something, the more you excel in doing it.
The first question is this; what do you want to become? If someone asks you who are you? What will be your answer?
Are you someone? Put your name in the blank and ask your self, who is ________?
If you do not have an answer, then you are wasting time.
You might want to become a great achiever, a successful entrepreneur, an investor, an inventor and so and so, and you might be thinking that you can not achieve it given your current status, but all I can say now is this;
The more time you spend doing something, the more Pro you become in doing it, i.e. you excel in that particular field.
Notice yourself, what do you do with your time everyday. there HAS to be something that you are doing on a daily basis. If you spend most of your time on social media platforms, then I can call you a social media Pro. You are a PROFESSIONAL social media platforms expert. You had no idea that you are. My family likes to call me a computer or technology expert, because I spend a significant amount of time on state of the art tech gadgets and etc. But do I view myself as a Pro like they do? No, because I know that there exists many other technology geeks that in front of them I will look puny, BUT! that doesn’t mean that I’m not good at it!
My point here is, that if you want to be something, then spend your time around that field.
If you want to be an inventor, spend your spare time watching DIY videos on YouTube, watch documentaries, check out new inventions, buy and read some books where you can apply some of what you are learning at home and have fun doing it.
I have a friend of mine who is fond of cars, engines, anything related to automotives. I can confidently say that if he is to work as an engine inventor or to work in any automotive related field, he will succeed and excel because he has spent a lot of his time educating himself about the subject.
Malcolm Gladwell, in his book “Outliers“, suggests that if you do something for 10,000 hours, then you are an expert in that field. That is the foundation of education. People who go to schools, they basically are spending their time being around a specific field, learning it, being around it all the time. so why don’t you spend your basic time being around the thing that you want to become.
You might be worried about your future, and you are seeing that you are currently under achieving, or you are not even achieving anything at all. Ask yourself what am I a Pro at? You have to be a Pro at something, you just don’t know it.
God bless.
How to Ace an interview.
First you need to understand your own weight.
Weigh yourself first and know yourself.
What is he talking about? Weigh yourself and know yourself? How is this relevant? How does this help me ace an interview?
Sadly, Very sadly, there are people out there who are brilliant, but have no idea how smart and capable they are. They set the walls for themselves, they believe that they are not worthy of a high income job, why? Because they have eluded themselves into thinking that they are not worthy enough. A classical example to this was my first hand experience: whenever I went to a job interview, I stuttered, I answered questions very poorly, maneuvering and thinking that this was what I was supposed to do in an interview. I was wrong, as I worked in many places and read a lot of books on self development, I came to realize that an individual’s potential is very vast, an inexperienced youngster can outperform a corporate veteran, how is that possible? Because the person who believes in himself and has a positive outward mental attitude, excels in his work and further gets brainstorms of ideas and has a lot of energy and never gets tired. Why? Because he believes in himself.
As I worked in many companies, I couldn’t help but notice that there are DUMB people who have better positions than me, why is that? Is it my fault? Yessss! Ofcourse its my fault, when I entered my job interview I had the desperate look on my face that said, “Please hire me! any job would do!” this way I was used, recruited and was given the minimal wage, although I had previous experience and plus a prestigious university degree to my name.
What did I do as time passed? I sat down and took a serious look in the mirror, I weighed myself, with all the experience I have had, with all the reading that I do, with all the people whom I have come across and learned a lot from, with all the above average ambition, I AM A LOT BETTER THAN WHO I THINK I AM, therefore I am the one who will decide his own wage. I was at home, jobless, I received a call from a recruiting agency, I had no idea how they got a hold of my CV until I realized that I have given them my CV years ago. they informed me that there is a vacancy for an HR manager, I thought to myself; hmm coool. They told me whats your expectation for your wage, I told them the double amount of my previous wage, and my attitude was; if you don’t like my offer, find someone else. But of course I was polite and professional at the same time but I had a clear vibe that this is what I’m asking for and I will not go for less. They had no idea that my previous wage was half the amount which I have demanded, but hey! it worked,
I was hired.
Why am I talking about this story in detail?
The thing that really made my mind go round n round was that, the recruiting agency whom I gave my C.V to, had no idea that I have gained experience in HR because the C.V which I handed to them was many years old, and as soon as I completed my HR specialist Course, they contacted me and they were looking for an HR Manager, based on that old CV which they have had, I was a hell lot under qualified for an HR role, therefore my conclusion is this, IT IS THE ENERGY THAT YOU EMIT AND SEND TO THE UNIVERSE that affects the circumstances in your life and manifests opportunities to you. Did you understand or are you lost? Remember when I said to weigh yourself? As soon as I completed my HR course I had more faith that now I am more capable, and I am more valuable, so I weighed my self differently as a man of greater value, this is the reason why the opportunity to work as an HR manager manifested.
But how do I weigh myself?
Look into yourself, what are you good at?
When you sit in an interview, talk to the person who is interviewing you as if that person is a random person whom you are meeting on a bus stop, and you want to have a nice short social conversation and speak about each other, if the person interviewing you was a random stranger who you met in a bus stop, how would you behave and interact with that person, ask the interviewer questions as if you are asking the stranger in the bus stop, how long have you been here? what have you studied? How is work here… as simple as that, you will be surprised that the person interviewing you is as simple as you, and is not a devil whose trying to make you talk about your sins. Be honest, Professionally honest at least, don’t say things like, ya well I hate being punctual, and you look ugly as shii***. Thats just silly.
Add value to yourself.
You might completely ignore many achievements that you have accomplished in your life, so when an interviewer asks you, what have you achieved so far, or what is your greatest accomplishment, you can answer simply by saying that I was once one of the top three students in my class, or you can say that my previous boss once told me “You are brilliant!”, soooo simple, yet we don’t take these things into consideration, My personal opinion, again, it is only my own personal opinion; company managers look for candidates who are socially welcoming, take own initiative, abide by the rules and respect themselves and others, THATS IT! Even if the position which you are applying for requires years of experience, in today’s technology you can Google almost “how to do” anything! All you have to do in the interview is to show positive belief in yourself that you can achieve and do what they require from you.
I can not emphasize how important it is that you believe in yourself, look at yourself, I am sure that you have countless achievements which you are not aware of, find them so that they can help you increase your own faith in yourself.
Please see that this post is dedicated to those who had to go through the same hardships that I went through with the lack of understanding of my own value, this post is intended to open your eyes to your true potential, and remove the dirty veil of mediocrity off from your eyes. If you are looking for tips on how to show up to an interview, things like wear a clean shirt, arrive 15 minutes early and all that crap, you will not find these tips here sorry.
All humans believe in god. Period. الأيمان بالله فطرة
Believing in god/a higher force is an instinct. Just like when a man knows that he needs to eat indefinitely, all humans know that there is a higher force for which they can not explain. For e.g If an atheist is on a plane and the plane is taking him on an enjoyable auto-pilot cruise, he will say wow! How scientists are amazing! As soon as the plane drops and is about to crash, he will call on god for help.
That my friend, is instinct.
P.S. This is not a message to atheists saying that you should convert, but this is rather a message to religious extremists to leave them alone.
Why you should focus on honing your talents rather than studying something just for the sake of getting a job.
When you are talented at something, you do that specific thing excellently with minimal amount of effort, for e.g if you are good in mathematics, when you are compared to someone who is not, you will do better in an exam even if the non talented guy studies harder. ‘
Why focus on talent?
It is very hard to become successful at something if you have no likeness towards that field. It takes a lot of hard work. So why not save your life and your time, did you know that you become happy as well? Whats better? To see your work as fun or to see your work as work?
But talent does not put food on the table.
Who told you that? Are you that brainwashed?
It is your fault that you don’t know the means by which you can make money out of your talents, did you ever ask yourself or did you ever do a research on how you can monetize your talents?
Of course it takes time to hone your talents, you can’t become Picasso over night, but if you do work on your talents, it’s very fruitful later.
Imagine that you are walking down the street, and accidentally you hear a little girl telling her dad that he should read your book. That is what happened to Paulo Coelho when he was walking one day and he overheard a girl telling her dad that he should read The Alchemist. That is a great feeling. When Coelho was a kid, his parents wanted to make him do something other than writing, but he knew that he likes writing and he persisted in staying in that field.
Nowadays people are making money out of things that would sound silly 10 years ago for e.g, there are people who are making money by playing a game, record the game play, upload it to YouTube and then YouTube pays them.
Think wide my friend.
Success defined. What makes a man successful. How to know whether you are successful or not.
Success is this:
A man’s success can be measured proportionately to how happy he is in life.
Benefits of meditation, 10 reasons why you should meditate and enjoy a stress-free life.
Meditation helps you control your thoughts and silences those chaotic multiple voices in your head, which their sources are unknown. Napoleon Hill says: Thought control is the highest form of self control. If you have dreams and you want to achieve them, you better have thought control or you’ll end up finding yourself on an emotional roller coaster. Uncertainty is one of our greatest enemies, meditation kills it.
Meditation helps slow your heart rate, if combined with deep breathing, your body will relax, escape the tensions of our high-demanding-info-chaotic world, and rebalance/harmonize your cells.
Meditation helps in eliminating stress, a relaxed mind is always stess free.
Meditation helps you listen to your deepest concerns, and filters out those thoughts which bombard you but in reality they don’t concern you, in other words you know the difference between what really matters to you and what doesn’t.
Meditation helps you get closer to your inner voice, the voice of wisdom, the all knowing, infinite intelligence, god.
Meditation makes you trust your heart, and strengthens your instincts.
Meditation gives your life a purpose, gratitude and love for oneself.
Meditation helps you identify your ego.
If you have love in your heart sometimes you will find that you were born only to meditate and to do nothing else.
In the end, it depends on what you have in your heart when you meditate, if you want to achieve something specific, try meditating and imagining those things that you want. Einstein says: Your imagination is your preview of your life’s coming attractions.
How to handle stressful situations? How to become stress free?
Do you often find yourself emotionaly upset when you hear or see something you don’t like or you don’t agree with?
Do you often find yourself on an emotional roller coaster?
For your info, there are people who rearly experience emotional stress and in the coming paragraphs we will learn how to be relaxed, have confidence, and enjoy a healthy and a balanced emotional life.
Please Note: What we are about to discuss are deep rooted stimuli, imagine the source of these stimuli are some false knots in your mind, we will now untie these knots that stimulate these outter emotions that you are experiencing, and replace these knots with the emotions of beauty and love. Therefore, ponder upon each rule before going to the next.
Rule number 1 (and the most important rule) It’s all in your head.
Truly, men are not troubled by the problems they face, the way they LOOK at their problems.
It is very important that you elminate your fears. Neale Donald Walsche once said that FEAR is an abbreviation for; Feeling Excited And Ready.
Eliminate those realities which you do not like. You have the power. Just ask how to attain this power, and the answer will be shown to you.
Once I was lying down on a bed in a hotel room in Nepal, I was looking at the ceiling fan, and I noticed that the motion of the fan’s blades were clockwise. I thought to myself, I will make it move counter clockwise! And I could. I was able to see the fan rotate anti-clockwise and clockwise according to my will.
Now, if that is possible, so is the way you perceive the realities of your life, it is all in your head, you are the one creating the problem, not others.
So how do you shift from being a reactive person to being a proactive person? You are the one who can answer this question. Ask yourself some deep questions, what is it that upsets you in life? Is it because of YOU or is it because of something out of your control. Be true to yourself.
Whenever you are confronted by a stressful situation, say; is it really worth my calories? 🙂 it is that simple.
Love and respect yourself, being stressful is a crime against yourself. Gandhi says “There is nothing that wastes the body like worry, and one who has any faith in God should be ashamed to worry about anything whatsoever. “
Have love and gratitude.
I couldn’t help but notice that the people who are truly happy, they have immense gratitude for simple things.
Humans’ basic instict is compassion, so nobody is plotting anything against you, but rather, everybody is trying be as good as possible, just like you.
Love and so you will be loved. A man who has love in his heart, his road is illuminated.
Build bridges for yourself and others around you, maximize your and others’ potential, bring the good out, sow seeds of beauty and truth.
If you feel that the knots are still tight on your mind, research “Hollographic universe” or watch this video, it will give your mind a sort of a reboot, and then you will recognise and appreciate your dearest philosophies.
God bless
